Immanuel Velikovsky is a respected prominent early member of the large group of people that believe sense or know that there really must be some sort of orbiting astronomical body that is a member of the inner solar system that is unknown in our time.

People can't imagine the Object or it's orbital behavior as it actually exists and neither could Mr. Velikovsky but that doe's not matter. There are a lot of people out there who are very open to the idea of a returning astronomical object of some sort or they are very steadfastly 100% positive that there must be a returning astronomical object of some description out there based on the accumulation of clues and evidence that suggests that the ancient people witnessed and wrote about some sort of returning reoccurring celestial event that very often was refereed to as having a significant special mysterious event occurring at the same time. It's the returning Object I saw and describe on this website and the way it intercepts and changes the light from the Moon. The Object returns and crosses down and the special ancient sights that were written about are there in the Moon's transformed Changed Light to be seen by everyone who looks to the right and stays looking in an uninterrupted manner. It turns out that this is what happens.

People who believe there is a returning object really want and deserve to know about what that Object actually is and along with them everyone who hasn't heard of the idea of an unknown member of the inner solar system yet to be rediscovered and everyone who is 100% positive that there is no returning object of any description also certainly deserve to know about the Object and that's exactly what is going to automatically happen sooner or later. The next time the Object Theia, Planet 9 crosses down it will become rediscovered by the people of the world and everyone will know that some people like Immanuel Velikovsky were right about the fact that there is an object out there of some description that needs to be discovered.

Add in the whole complicated business of the way the Object's forces change the light from the Moon. The extremely fantastic difficult nature of the details of the Changed Light complicate and transform this Object's return into something very special. One result is ancient clues that are many times confusing and hard to understand but there are common threads and themes that point towards a single event. These are the clues that Mr. Velikovsky and other people today have followed and have been led by to an inescapable conclusion.

Later after the Object returns and everyone finds out and suddenly we have brand new experts galore some people may decide to criticize Mr. Velikovsky for some of his other ideas. As I understand it the ideas that Mr. Velikovsky put forth for consideration were his best efforts to try to begin to explain what he understood to be credible facts and indications from the present and from the past that he saw as direct evidence for the existence of an unknown member of the inner solar system. At least in part it appears to me that Mr Velikovsky realized that he was seeing the effects of some sort of celestial object moving within our inner solar system in general close proximity to the Earth's orbit. When I look at some of today's ideas that are attempts to try to explain what happens I don't see any difference. It's someone's attempt to try to explain a situation where people realize that they are surrounded by facts and antidotal evidence that suggests some sort of orbiting returning object. Today it's Planet 9 and the scientists are guessing about what could cause the gravitational effects that they are seeing out past Neptune in the Kuiper belt and they have imagined and theorized an astronomical object that they call Planet 9. They are doing the same thing as Immanuel Velikovsky in that they are also looking at direct evidence that the Object has left behind. Both Immanuel Velikovsky in the past and the scientists today are equally right about the fact that there is an unknown member of the solar system that remains undiscovered and they are both equally incorrect when it comes to being able to correctly imagine what that astronomical object might actually be where it is and how and where it orbits through the solar system.

Mr. Velikovsky was unable to do this but that really does not matter and I believe that's true because the important part is understanding that there really must be a returning object out there to be rediscovered. Again this brings us up to today and attempts to understand the evidence for an unknown member of the inner solar system. It doesn't matter how far off the attempts to explain might be because if they are incorrect they are incorrect there is no difference between them. Honest thoughtful attempts to explain the idea of a returning ancient celestial object are exactly that irregardless of whether or not a person is able to provide a guess that actually describes this strange stunning astronomical Object and it's bizarre orbital behavior. Anyone and everyone who comes to realize that there is a returning astronomical object deserves credit.

The basic bottom line is that without the benefit of seeing the Ancient Object's return for himself unlike all the new experts that will suddenly be out there and unlike his old critics, Mr. Velikovsky figured out that there was an object and he was right.
